Mark Duggan inquest: Furious protesters drown out police statement

Met Police Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley is confronted by a protester and shouts of "murderer" as he delivers a statement after Mark Duggan's inquest.

Temperatures boiled over outside the Royal Courts of Justice as uniformed assistant commissioner Mark Rowley made a statement after the inquest into Mark Duggan's death has ruled that he was killed lawfully.

Mr Rowley could not be heard and protesters jostled waiting journalists. The angry crowd shouted "murderer" and "murdering scum".

Others called out "who killed Mark Duggan? The police killed Mark Duggan."
As security staff tried to disperse the crowd and shield the officer, chants of "liars, racists, murderers, scum" rang out.
