US President Obama and first Lady Michelle rolled out the red carpet for French President Francois Hollande at the White House on Tuesday evening.
Hollande is on his first official visit to the US since 2011.
He's been in talks with the President Barack, during a two day visit to Washington, where the two nations have reaffirmed an alliance.
The French president says mutual trust with the US has been restored, since relations soured more than a decade ago when France opposed a US led invasion of Iraq.
Hollande will travel to Silicon Valley this week where he'll meet businessmen for possible investments in France.
