Icy conditions in suburban Atlanta in the US have left cars spinning out of control on one downhill stretch of road.
A television crew captured the moment when a vehicle slides down the road before coming to a halt.
As a passer-by comes to help, another vehicle appeared over the same hill and also lost control - slamming into the stationary car which had slid into the pavement only moments before.
The camera crew from Atlanta television Station WSB continues to film as a third car slides down the road, coming to an abrupt stop - while bystanders call an ambulance for the first two motorists.
Atlanta, a hub to major corporations and the world's busiest airport, has once again found itself unprepared to deal with chaos brought by a snow storm on Tuesday.
Roads in suburban areas were still treacherous on Thursday, despite assurances that city officials had learned their lessons from a 2011 ice storm that brought the city to its knees.
