It has being described as a blow to women's rights in Afghanistan. A new law has been passed by parliament that will make it harder for victims of domestic abuse to bring their cases to court. The bill has been sent to Afghan President Hamid Karzai, who has to decide whether to sign it into force. Rights groups say it will silence victims of abuse.
