A special screening for Madhuri Dixit’s Dedh Ishqiya was held for the LGBT community. Madhuri’s character of Begum Para is now being regarded as the new diva and icon of the LGBT community. Dedh Ishqiya was praised by critics for portraying homosexuality in a subtle yet positive way.
