Vault Of Acanthus is a musical journey at the beginning of which you can find a junction of five different roads. The influences and the inspirations of the band members were united and they formed its sound, which mainly moves along the paths of symphonic rock/metal, while there is a fusion with progressive elements.
The band’s activities started in Aigio in the summer of 2011, including live performances, and continued with the composition and the recording of its first album.The current lineup of the band was finalized in September 2012 and consists of:

John Simaiopoulos – Guitar/Vocals
George Georgousopoulos – Keyboards
Kostas Stathopoulos – Bass
Thanasis Kokkalis – Drums
The debut album of the band was self – released in the summer of 2013 and was presented live in concerts, the most distinguishing of which was the opening act at a local concert of “Ypogeia Revmata” – a popular greek rock band.
These days the band is working on new material. Its goal and wish is to widen its musical horizons and to experience its musical journey through all possible dimensions.
We always believed that inside all the people there is an inner mirror of the universe. It’s the place where you can find the dreams that weren’t lost and the values that weren’t shadowed by the deceit and the malice. And if we ever look closely into this mirror, we will notice the reflections of many things…
