Police dash cam footage captures woman jumping from moving car: What began with a shoplifting report ended with a high-speed chase, a woman leaping from flaming vehicle and police guns drawn in the early hours of Friday in Pleasant Hill, Ohio.

The woman, 33-year-old Marie Wright admitted to stealing tweezers from a local pharmacy with the help of accomplice Jerry Pancoast who was behind the wheel of their getaway car.

Police attempted to pull over the pair's red Chevy pickup truck after receiving a call from an employee at the Pleasant Hill Hy-Vee store who noticed two women pocketing items.

Pancoast, however, concerned there was an outstanding warrant for his arrest decided not to pull over, and gunned it. There was no such warrant.

The chase stretched over two counties and reached speeds of up to 120 miles-per-hour with police forced to deploy road spikes. The pickup hits a cement divider, causing sparks which ignite fuel leaking from the tank.
