Legendary Actor Dr. Akkineni Nageswara Rao is no more. Akkineni Nageswara Rao (90) passed away on tuesday night. He was battling with cancer. he had beenfighting to win over the cancer disease. he breathed his last while undergoing treatment at care hospital in Hyderabad.
The great actor had featured in 256 films in telugu and tamil. he acted as lead actor in morathan 240 films. born on september 20 in 1924 in krishna district. he started his acting career on stage. In 1941 in Dharmapatni, he made debut on silver screen and went to act till his last breath. akkineni nageswara rao last acted in Manam movie which is set for release in this summer.
He was honored bu the indian government with the second highest civilian award "Padma Vibhushan" for his contribution to indian cinema. ANR player a variety of roles ranging from a charming prince to a frustrated alcoholic lover, from a valiant soldier to a holy saint, and from a college student to wayward person.
