A militant group of activists who occupied the Agriculture Ministry on Wednesday have been forced out by other moderate protesters.

They clashed outside the building with at least two people injured.

An activist from Spilna Sprav said he and other activists were sleeping inside the ministry when the opposition protesters barged in without warning.

Ukraine’s opposition parties have asked demonstrators not to occupy government ministries.

Meanwhile the Ukrainian parliament is discussing an amnesty law which would free any protesters detained during the last two months of unrest.

The demands of both the opposition and government are still being negotiated behind the scenes before politicians vote.

The government has asked protesters to dismantle the Maidan Independence Square barricades before any amnesty is approved. They have refused to do so until all detained activists are released.
