U.S. Senator Marco Rubio met South Korean Foreign Minister Yun Byun-se in Seoul on Friday in a visit aimed at boosting bilateral ties between the two countries.
Rubio arrived in the capital on Thursday for a three-day visit, the final stop on his week-long trip to Asia.
The Republican Senator, a potential 2016 White House contender, is expected to discuss regional and global issues with Yun.
Rubio visited the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) on Thursday, the heavily armed border between two Koreas, and met U.S. troops there.
He is set to leave South Korea on Saturday.
