For a long time I wasn't sure how you get the silent assassin bonus in a lot of the mission in Hitman: Absolution. That is reflected in the guides I have been writing for Hitman: Absolution as some of them don't include the Silent Assassin rating. However, I have figured out, a little late, how to get it done. Up to the challenge guides for the Fight Night mission some of the guides won't show you how to get the silent assassin bonus, but from then on the guides should always show you how to get the silent assassin bonus.
To get the silent assassin bonus you must be able to kill a target in a mission. If you get the silent assassin bonus you also get the silent assassin rating for a mission.
Now first of all for the silent assassin bonus it doesn't matter how you kill your targets as long as it is a signature kill or somehow incorporated in the story (for instance you can also get the silent assassin bonus on Sanchez in the Fight Night mission if you fight him in the ring). But there are a few conditions that are places on you before you kill your target. You cannot kill anyone. Subduing is fine, but even if you kill non-civilians you cannot get the silent assassin bonus.
Enemies can find a subdued body and you will still be able to get the silent assassin bonus. However, if you are spotted you cannot get the silent assassin bonus. Even if you change disguises and pick up the evidence you still won't be able to get the silent assassin bonus.
You can also loose the silent assassin bonus if you breach any of the rules for getting the silent assassin bonus after you have killed the target.
