This is the first of two parts of the Shaving Lenny Mission in Hitman: Absolution which is called the Streets of Hope. In it you make your way around the streets and alleys of Hope and eliminate Landon, Tyler and Gavin with signature kills who are part of Lenny's Gang. This guide explains how to complete this mission on the hardest, purist, difficulty. It does not explain how to complete the different challenges in this area.
At the start go down the alley until you get to the main street. Turn left and walk on the side walk until you get to the entrance of a shop. Go into it and immediately take cover behind the counter.
Follow the counter all the way to the right and round the corner in cover. Get out of cover and make your way to the top of the stairs where you will find a bottle to the right. Leave the shop again taking cover on the wall at the bottom of the stairs and crouch walking in cover around the corner and to the other side of the counter. Once you are there leave cover and crouch walk until you are through the entrance, then get up.
Walk towards the alley on the right side of the mechanic. Follow the alley until you get to a big black car. Take cover behind the car. Ahead is the entrance to a workshop. Check the workshop entrance for a mechanic to come forward to stand next to the police officer and have a smoke. Wait until he turns his back, then throw the bottle you picked up before behind the red and white car.
As soon as the police officer starts leaving his post walk forwards and towards the entrance of the workshop, but make sure the wall stays between you and the mechanic. Wait until the mechanic has turned his back towards you, then enter the workshop and walk towards the corner ahead which has a door to the left.
Go through the door and up the stairs. To your right is another door. Go through that door and take cover on the shelves on the side not facing the door. You will be hidden from view from the door even though it looks like you are in plain sight. Wait for a while until Landon shows up. He starts talking on the phone and eventually he turns towards the door. Equip the fiber wire and go around the right side of the shelves and garrote him as soon as you can. Hide his body in the cabinet which is next to the wall opposite the door. Take a gasoline can from the shelves you took cover on.
Go back out of the room but turn right and go up the stairs. Go through the door and through the kitchen and exit the kitchen through the left door, not the corridor at the right side of the kitchen. Throw the gasoline can into the small corridor ahead.
Immediately take cover on the crate in front of you so that you can't be seen from the door ahead. A mechanic will react to the noise and come into the corridor. Wait for him to turn his back on you and then sneak up behind him and subdue him (make sure you select the fiber wire and then un-equip it). Change into his clothing and hide the body in the crate you just took cover behind.
Now go back into the kitchen and exit it through the corridor (you can walk now and there is no need to hide). Shortly after there are some stairs to the left.
Follow those stairs down and at the bottom turn right and go through the door ahead. Follow that corridor until you get to the end. Crouch and crouch walk through the door and make your way back up the alley towards the main street whilst staying close to the left wall. You can stand up once you are past the black car you took cover behind before. Go back into the shop you got the bottle from earlier the same way as before. Keep going into the room ahead at the top of the stairs and go into the cabinet inside that room.
Wait in the cabinet until Tyler shows up. When you can't see him any more through the crack in the doors wait for a few seconds then exit the cabinet. Equip your fiber wire and garrote Tyler and hide his body in the cabinet you just took cover in. Go back out of the shop the same way as before. Now make your way to the right down the main street until you see some police officers standing in front of a house on the left side of the main street.
Walk over the wooden front porch past the police officers. Take cover on the left side of the first car you get to and wait for the mechanic to have walked towards some rubble and is examining said rubble.
Then make your way to the back of the backyard until you see a big generator. On the right side of the generator you can hook up a wire to the fence. Do so and wait for Gavin to get close to the fence.
