With all the smashing and blatant disregard for other people’s belongings, you probably wouldn’t think burglars have too much respect. Well one incident proves crooks have quite a lot of love to give….at least to fellow thieves.
Three males in Broomfield, Colorado were caught on surveillance video smashing through the glass window of a local shop, Timothy's Fine Jewelry . Once they gained entry, one of the men used a sledgehammer to violently break several display cases.
At that point things got bizarre. After the glass shattered and the males grabbed handfuls of expensive jewelry, they repeatedly turned to one another and said “I love you, brother.”
Said the president of the store, Tim Nichols, “They’re loving each other and calling each other brother the whole time. Why you’re invading someone else’s space and talking about how much love you have for each other is kind of disturbing.”
All of the men had their faces covered during the break in. Police are asking the public for tips. Meanwhile, Nichols is dealing with the unspecified financial loss and the emotional toll of having the sense of security stolen, for both himself and employees.
