King.com, makers of the incredibly successful mobile game “Candy Crush Saga,” have filed a lawsuit against the makers of a PC game called “The Banner Saga.” The lawsuit comes on the heels of King's last legal venture, where they trademarked the word “candy.” Apple has sent messages to all developers of games with “candy” in the title, informing them of the trademark law.

San Francisco has passed new public transit regulations regulating Google's shuttle buses. The buses were operating on city public transit routes before this pilot program, but the city of San Francisco received nothing from Google. The new program will charge the parent company of the shuttle buses $1 for each stop it makes on the public bus route. City activists allege that the program does too little to help people other than Google employees.

Finally, Ford has announced that it will work with MIT and Stanford University to develop autonomous cars. MIT will focus on systems to predict what other cars and pedestrians will do, while Stanford is tasked with the general movement of the vehicle and developing sensors to allow the car to interpret its surroundings.
