Nurses are in demand for a number of different factors, all of which combine to make this the perfect time to embark on a new nursing career. For one thing, nurses already outnumber doctors four to one, and nursing students account for more than half of all healthcare students. More importantly though, the healthcare industry is placing more of a focus on preventative care, ongoing treatment and shifting responsibilities away from doctors.
