"In the 15 minutes that we had to try and gather everything, not much, I even left my wallet and watch and everything, but we tried to get as much as we can."

In total, the blaze burned 5 homes, and damaged 17 other structures.

The fire started after three men were in the process of building a campfire and used paper to feed the flames. The fire was spread by high winds, officials said.

Bail has been set at $500,000 for each of the men -- jailed on charges of recklessly starting the fire.
