Spider-Man review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Spider-Man for the Nintendo GameCube developed by Treyarch and published by Activision.
Based on the blockbuster 2002 film, Spider-Man puts players in control of Marvel’s web-slinging hero! The game features linear levels as well as a huge city, where players can swing across skyscrapers at towering heights. Spider-Man’s acrobatic attacks include flying kicks and even luchador wrestling moves, ensuring players have a spectacular offensive arsenal at their disposal. The game also includes some stealth elements, which allows players to sneak through the shadows, cling to the ceiling and go unnoticed by enemies. Either that or you can just beat the crap out of them. Classic villains such as Shocker, Vulture and the Green Goblin are on the loose, and it’s up to Spidey to bring them to justice. Spider-Man is a single-player game.
This video review features video gameplay footage of Spider-Man for the Nintendo GameCube and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
