Obama to outline reforms on spying programme

United States President Barack Obama is due to announce his new surveillance policy on Friday. The National Security Agency's programme has become increasingly unpopular after revelations it has been spying on millions of citizens worldwide. But even if the American president adopt most of the reforms recommended by his own advisers, civil and privacy rights advocates say they would not be enough to fix the problem. Al Jazeera's Patty Culhane reports from the White House.
