UK study eyes genetic fix on blindness

Scientists in the United Kingdom have managed to restore sight in people born with an incurable form of blindness. They have used gene therapy to help people with Choroideremia, which affects an estimated one in 50,000 people - mostly men. The experimental study attempts to correct the underlying gene defect of the patients, and modify it. Al Jazeera's Emma Hayward reports from Oxford.
