The Thomas More school in Belgium recently recruited Navy style drones to curb the habits of kids taking a glance at their seatmate’s work or slipping a cheat sheet under their exams.

It's inevitable - drones will be everywhere in the not-so-distant-future and that may apply even to our schools.

The Thomas More school in Belgium recently recruited Navy style drones to curb the habits of kids taking a glance at their seatmate's work or slipping a cheat sheet under their exams.

A video released online shows the drone, complete with blinking lights, flying around the room and hovering over students’ heads, recording their behavior.

The remote controlled and compact sized DJI Phantom aircraft is outfitted with a GoPro video camera.

One teacher controls the drone, while another continuously scans the video monitor for any suspicious activity. Some critics have questioned the legitimacy of the drone in school, claiming the propellers would blow around the test paperwork.

Others wonder whether or not it serves as major distraction during testing, preventing the students from obtaining good grades.

What do you think? Drones in school to monitor cheating a good idea?
