The difference between Six Month Smiles and traditional braces is that Six Month Smiles is a condensed version of traditional braces. We do not try to alter the bite at the back whereas in traditional braces we want to focus on every aspect of the teeth and the relationship of the jaw. Whereas, in six month smiles you've had that bite in the back for a while, and you're doing absolutely fine. As long as you're not getting any type of TMJ issues or headaches, you're very much a candidate for six month smiles.
