Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Teen Titans for the Nintendo GameCube developed by Artificial Mind and Movement and published by Majesco and Warner Bros. Interactive.
The Teen Titans have been trapped in a video game. No, seriously, that’s the premise. Join Robin, Raven, Beast Boy, Cyborg and Starfire as they try to figure out why their lives have suddenly become a video game and, of course, how to get out. They’ll battle plenty of familiar enemies in this familiar brawler, a standard beat ‘em up designed for young players and fans on the show. Teen Titans gives you control of the five Titans and lets you switch between them at any time. Each has three attacks that can be strung together in plenty of cool combos, allowing the Titans to take down foes in lots of fun ways. Playing the campaign unlocks items and characters for use in the local multiplayer mode, which is where the game is certainly at its best. Can the Titans win the most important video game they’ll ever play? Only with your help in Teen Titans for the GameCube!
