In the heat of an argument between two people, anything can become a weapon.

A pregnant woman in Florida was arrested following an argument with her roommate that turned physical. 24-year-old Jennifer Feagley allegedly flew into a rage after she discovered her 59-year-old roommate left butter on the stove.

It didn’t take long for Feagley to become aggressive. According to the victim, Patricia Marson, Feagley, who is 6 months pregnant, struck her in the head so hard she fell to the floor.

The fight didn’t stop there. The pregnant woman pounced on Marson and pummeled her in the chest numerous times. At one point during the assault she also choked the victim and hit her with a cane about five times.

The police arrived at the shared home and interviewed both women. When they determined Feagley was the aggressor, she was placed into cuffs and transported to Volusia County Jail. She is now facing charges of aggravated battery.

Feagley reportedly spoke to officers blaming her rage and violent actions on pregnancy hormones. She also claimed to suffer from schizoaffective disorder and admitted she hadn’t been taking her prescribed medication.
