Ford is one of the countries most reputable brands when it comes to the pick up truck in the automotive world.  With that Ford has become some what of a game changer and proved it at The 2014 North American International Auto Show when they debuted their 13th generation F-series pick-up, the F150.

In one of the most talked about unveils Ford revealed an impressive pick-up truck that was 700 pounds lighter and more fuel-efficient. The savings are thanks to a steel frame with an aluminum-alloy body, but did it take away from the strength of the pick-up truck?

With the truck expected to go on sale later this year, we will have to see if Ford will remain the trusted brand, and if the gamble of aluminum in fact paid off.
