Mount Taranaki or Mount Egmont has three hundred and sixty degree views of the whole Taranaki region. The mountain and park is known for it's bad weather. Be prepared for any condition anytime of the year. There are plenty of tracks, huts and campsites.
It's a great place to visit. The New Plymouth region has a lot to offer. Skiing, surfing, cycling and so much more.
