Two men in Malaysia, who were accused of stealing cattle, altered their vehicle to conceal the stolen livestock.
According to reports, the Proton Wira car had been modified to accommodate the four cows found inside. The back seat had been removed so the cows would fit the makeshift larger space, comprised of the trunk and former rear seating.
The two suspects were initially able to make off with the animals but did not get too far.
The men made their escape via a local expressway. Little did they know the owner of the cattle had reported the stolen cows missing and residents were helping him look along the roadway.
They managed to evade the rescuers, but broke down a short distance away causing them to flee the car and cows.
Police were able to track the car’s owner and were planning to bring the unidentified male in for questioning.
