Man Finds Stray Tooth in Peanut Bag

An extremely strange and disturbing allegation involves a human tooth and a bag of Spanish peanuts.

You can never be sure that your food is entirely safe. According to one couple, a tooth was found in their snack of choice.

The disturbing allegation involves a human tooth and a bag of Spanish peanuts. It happened when Michaela Epp and her boyfriend, Graham Calder, were ringing in the start of 2014 in Winnipeg, Canada.

Calder bit into a peanut during the celebration but immediately spit it out, realizing something was very wrong. Instead of seeing a peanut, Calder was looking at a human tooth, broken into three pieces.

Panicked, Calder checked his own mouth to ensure the tooth wasn’t one of his. After he realized everything was intact, the real horror sunk in.

The couple claimed the root was exposed on the mysterious tooth. According to Epp, it looked as though it had been yanked straight from someone’s gums.

Epp stated “It happened about 15 minutes after midnight, my boyfriend looked me and said, 'That's one way to start things.” The pair contacted the distributor of the peanuts, Safeway Inc.

A company spokesperson claimed an investigation will be launched into the incident once test results from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency are available.
