As the title says im going to show you guys how to record footage off your Ps4 or even the ps3 using a HDCP Bypass method.
Stuff to buy below. you dont have to buy the exact cables just as long as they are the same type of cable

Settings on Ps4
1. Set everything in the video output settings to automatic
2. Set audio output to either Digital Optical or HDMI im not sure it makes a difference, Put audio format as Linear PCM.
Settings on Ps3
1. Set audio output to Digital Optical, then click AAC and all the PCM setting you can below it. DO NOT CLICK DTS AND/OR DOLBY for some reason they will not work with the elgato software or something.
2. Set video output to HDMI (obviously) and auto
Elgato settings that i have for both ps3 and ps4 recording
From top to bottom on the capture tab
1. Set input device to Other, i believe it will work when you have it on 360 or xbox 1. I just stick with other though.
2. Input to HDMI do not click analog audio.
3. HDMI color range to standard, it looks like shit when its on expanded imo.
4. Profile 1080p.
5. Quality at 30 Mbps
6. the last three checks are up to you but do check the first one "preserve source format"
The only other thing i have is under Picture i put saturation to 10 just to give it a bit more color but thats entirely up to you.
