A month before the wedding, Leslie Tiller of South Carolina lost her engagement ring. 6 and a half years later, and just in time for Christmas, the diamond was found and returned.

Back in 2007, Tiller and her fiancé were in a friend’s car when the ring fell off of her finger and, she thought, onto her lap.
After arriving home and searching for hours, the group finally gave up.

The ring was replaced, Tiller and her fiancé became husband and wife, and,
unbeknownst to all, the friend’s car continued to hold the ring deep within its upholstery.

That is, until the Friday before Christmas when it was taken to Midas for some repairs, which involved the removal of the back seat. When the friend went to pick the auto up he found that the ring had been discovered by the mechanics and placed in the car’s cup holder.

He said he was on his way home from the garage when the memory of the lost ring resurfaced.

Once reunited with her original engagement diamond, Tiller said, "This is by far the most magical Christmas I've ever had. I never thought I'd see that ring again!"
