Animals are amazing and their actions often remind us what really matters in life. One recent story involved a mother cat who nursed a tiny pitbull mix breed puppy back to health and during the process showed the small pooch what love is all about.
Animals are amazing and their actions often remind us what really matters in life. One recent story involved a mother cat who nursed a tiny pitbull mix breed puppy back to health and during the process showed the small pooch what love is all about.
It all started on June 12th of this year when a Cleveland animal investigator discovered a one-day old puppy in a garbage can and covered in flies. The puppy was swiftly taken to a community shelter where workers named him Nolan and decided the best thing they could do to save its life was to put the pup in a room with Lurlene, a cat who had just birthed a litter of kittens.
Noland stayed with the kittens and nursed right alongside them. As for Lurlene, she treated Noland just like her own baby. The pup got so accustomed to cat life, he even used a litter box several times.
Eventually the kittens were all adopted and Noland was placed in a foster home where he got acquainted with a litter of puppies. He was later adopted by a human family – completely happy and healthy thanks to Lurlene.
