A maxi yacht drag race saw the start of the 2013 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race' exciting exit of Sydney Harbour. Wild Oats XI led Perpetual LOYAL to the heads with Beau Geste snapping at their sterns. While the two 100 footers luffed each other Beau Geste slipped through into second place rounding the turning mark between the heads. Then the boats headed out to sea and the extra 20 feet of length saw LOYAL regain second place. One great tracking shot shows all this action in this video.
