Reliving a childhood hobby of building model cardboard box fans, something I haven't done since 1982. This is my personal tribute to a New Orleans based industrial fan company, REED UNIT-FANS, INC. And since neighbors, relatives, as well as myself own one (I was 15 when I actually pulled one out of the dumpster and fixed it up) I still remember how it was designed so I built it the way they look (except, this time, I'm using food service boxes instead of shoe boxes. I wanted to make it bigger.) It was a taxing undertaking given that they don't make tape recorders and 8-track players anymore, where the motors and pulleys were ready, I was lucky to find one in an old VCR. Well, as Public Enemy's frontman, Chuck D would say...."Here it is, BAM!!!!"
