She hasn’t been left on her own to figure it out though. Her human, Shota Tsukamato, is giving the effort his all, as well.
He’s been taking whimsically staged photos of the little one and posting them daily on Instagram.
When styling the images, Tsukamato takes special care in selecting props that highlight Darcy’s diminutive stature.
He also likes to create scenes that trigger the viewer’s imagination.
Said the hedgehog owner, "I imagine a page from a children's picture book. I want it to be a surrealistic story, and I even want people to question whether or not Darcy really exists in real life."
At just three years old, she’s already a huge hit on Instagram, with over 350 thousand followers.
That makes her one of the most popular pets on the site, period.
As far as being the most famous hedgehog in the world, that’s hard to say.
