US technology giant Apple has signed a deal to bring its iPhone to China Mobile - the world's largest carrier.
The Chinese firm has more than 760 million subscribers.
Apple has been looking to boost its sales in China but has struggled amid growing competition.
The deal could add billions of dollars to Apple's revenue.
The move was applauded by China Mobile customers.

"The China Mobile signal is better. I have been a China Mobile customer for many years. I certainly hope to buy an iPhone from China Mobile."
(SOUNDBITE) (Mandarin) 47-YEAR-OLD LOCAL RESIDENT MS. XU SAYING:
"The deal between China Mobile and Apple is really good. It becomes more convenient for us customers. If I want to buy an iPhone, I can buy directly from China Mobile in the future."
China is the world's biggest smartphone-using country, with 1.2 billion users.
But Chinese sales of previous iPhone
