Two days before the July 4th weekend, BedBug Chasers received an emergency phone call that a shore resort that was completely sold out for the holiday discovered that it had a rampant bed bug infestation.
The overall project consisted of 30 hotel rooms and 2 offices spread across two separate buildings. For the project to be a success we were asked to complete our heat remediation treatment in 12 rooms and two offices for a 3:00 o'clock check-in in building one and 18 rooms in building two for a 5:00 O'clock check-in.
The challenge: we couldn't start before 9:00 am
We immediately developed a deployment plan, established specific treatment protocols, identified staging areas and worked with management to create a traffic flow plan for vacating and arriving guests.
On the day of treatment we deployed three crews carrying over a million BTU's of our proprietary non-toxic, eco-friendly, safe, electric, heaters. As guests vacated we began staging our equipment and the project commenced on-time. The crews came together as one well-oiled machine and building one was completed at 2:00 pm, one hour ahead of schedule. Similarly, building 2 was completed ahead of schedule. All equipment was packed up and BedBug chasers had left the property hours before the hotels holiday kick-off party.
At the end of the day, BedBug Chasers successfully treated over 8000 square feet spread across 30 hotel rooms and two offices in a less than 8 hours! Some may call this impossible. We call it just another day on the job.
