At the press meet to announce this launch, Salman Khan started off with his signature Bigg Boss 7 welcome line, replaced by Jai Ho Teaser Launch! Salman thanked the people responsible for what he is today. "I was born in a family which was part of this industry. By luck, I got this platform. Thanks to Sooraj Barjatya who gave me a break, and luckily the film also worked. I have no intention of becoming a star. I like to travel by rickshaw, and I love to use cycle. I am enjoying my success, and when I don't have it, then also I will enjoy."

Salman Khan was in his elements at this event while interacting with the media, and said he does not have the go to outrank the business records of Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan's films.

"I believe a film should be good. The promo should be the deciding factor for people, whether they want to see the film or not. It should be good enough, such that people would want to see the film," said Salman in his usual flamboyant self.

"Today it is about 200 crore, 300 crore or 400 crore. But I don't see it that way. There is no ego that if Shah Rukh or Aamir's film has done 'x' business, then my film should also do so and cross it. I wish and hope everybody's film should do well so that the business is more, and our industry grows," roared Salman Khan, while answering a question.

When asked if there is any pressure to break the record of Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela and R... Rajkumar, Salman Khan said, "It's great to know that Ram Leela and Rajkumar have worked well, and I hope and pray Jai Ho works even better. At the end of the day I want the producers to make money. There should never be such a film where people lose money and also respect. I hope and pray that everyone makes money and gains respect with the work they do."

The "hat" of Aamir Khan was also in question. When asked why he is seen donning Aamir's Dhoom 3 hat on Bigg Boss 7, Salman said, "Since the time I have started wearing Aamir's hat, I am getting genius marketing ideas, and I am using those ideas to promote Jai Ho. Also, I do hope and pray that Jai Ho creates Dhoom at the Box Office."

Jai Ho is directed by Sohail Khan, and produced by Eros International and Sohail Khan Productionz. The film is slated to release on January 24, 2014.

All that we can say is, "Hats off, Salman Khan!"
