Turkish police have used tear gas and a water cannon to break up a protest at a funeral for two Kurds who were shot dead during clashes on Friday.
Protesters in the southeastern district of Yuksekova lined up barricades of burning tyres on the road near to the site of the funeral, and pelted officers with stones.
Saturday’s demonstration comes after the death of two Kurds during a violent confrontation with police over claims that Kurdish rebel cemeteries had been destroyed.
Local authorities deny the destruction of the cemeteries, in which fighters from the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) are buried.
