Pik Botha, South Africa's longest serving foreign minister, who spent much of his career justifying Nelson Mandela's continued imprisonment, then was a key member of the team that negotiated with Mandela's African National Congress. He subsequently joined the ANC.
Botha reflects on the anti-apartheid icon, who passed away on Thursday, in an interview to Al Jazeera's Mike Hanna.
