Pope Francis was recently named 2013’s most talked-about person in the world on social media. The newest report concerning the pontiff proves he has had quite an interesting life, giving people plenty to gossip about.

Recently, Francis visited a church right outside Rome and while speaking to a group of Catholics, he admitted that he previously worked as a nightclub bouncer in his native home of Argentina.

Unfortunately he didn’t offer up any juicy details about his former job, however he did divulge a little more employment history. He told the parishioners that he cleaned floors and ran tests in a chemical laboratory.

Francis also revealed that while he was the leader of the Jesuit community in Argentina, he woke up at 5:30 every morning to wash the priests’ clothes. It was that background along with his experience as a literature and psychology teacher that helped him understand how to bring people back to church.

The most talked about revelation involved the bouncer job and of course that’s what everyone seems to focus on. There had been mention in the past but as Pope, Francis remained quiet until his recent announcement leading a reporter to inquire if he’s “coolest pope ever”.
