Imran Khan's latest release Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, in which he was seen opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan, failed to create any magic at the box-office. However, Khan says that hits and flops are part and parcel of this business and one has to take it in his or her stride.
Imran also states that it is unfair for people to blame the film's lead actors for its failure. At a recently held event when the actor was asked about the poor box-office collections of his movie, he said, "We feel very sad when a film doesn't work, but this is the reality of our industry and if you can't tolerate it then you are in the wrong business."
When quizzed if he feels that his pairing with Kareena was the reason behind the film's failure, Khan said, "When we did Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu people appreciated our pairing. So if a film turns out to be a flop, then the entire team has to think about it, be it the writer, actors, producer or director, everybody has to think about what went wrong. It's not right to put the blame on only one thing or only on the lead pair. If the film is unsuccessful, then the film had some weaknesses and we have to learn from that."
Produced by Karan Johar, Gori Tere Pyaar Mein has been helmed by Punit Malhotra.
