It's hard not to feel love towards innocent animals. A huge reindeer named Aatu is living the good life in his human family’s backyard.
His downtime isn’t just spent outdoors though. His owner named Pia, who lives in Northern Finland, even allows Aatu into the house. It appears as though the reindeer has adapted well to the lifestyle.
He can be seen walking lightly through the door of the home - basically he tiptoes around, as part of a careful effort not to knock anything over. According to Pia, Aatu is mostly housebroken and enjoys watching TV. His favorite show is reportedly the British police series called Heartbeat.
Video footage captures the bond between Pia and her pet deer. The 6-year-old deer is also somewhat of a tourist attraction in the local area, luring in visitors who are curious to see the creature.
Aatu was just a baby when his mother abandoned him in the woods. Thankfully a kind hearted human owner took him in and bottled fed him, teaching the deer how to fully enjoy the company of people.
