A passenger train has been derailed in New York with multiple injuries, authorities say. There are unconfirmed reports that at least four people have died.
Emergency services are on the scene where five of the seven Metro-North train’s carriages came off the tracks.
Earlier reports that some of the carriages had gone into water nearby have been denied.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) said the derailment happened near Spuyten Duyvil station in the Bronx.
