Heavy rains slam into Cuba Saturday drenching the country in water
Some say they can't remember the last time there was so much rain.
(SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) HAVANA RESIDENT ROBERTO BELLO SAYING:
"We weren't expecting this. The hurricane season ended without any storms and this deluge caught us by surprise.
Now streets have turned to rivers.
(SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) HAVANA RESIDENT MARIA ELENA RIVAS SAYING:
"It's just water and water and water every day. The water hasn't stopped."
The rain comes from slow-moving front moving across the island
Two people were killed Friday when their home collapsed under a deluge of water.
