Find the best financial services for you at: SMARTFINANCESOLUTIONS.NET - If a creditor doesn't reposses a car after bankruptcy does the person get to keep it? - Well technically no.

It all depends on the kind of bankruptcy you filed, whether or not you've reaffirmed the debt, etc.

We have a vehicle that the note was included in the bankruptcy. We called the creditor and told them to come get it. They told us we weren't worth their time, we owed them less than $2k and they were way out in California and it wasn't worth the money to come get it. So now we're stuck with it...have to move it everywhere we go. It has a lien on it so no one wants to buy it. Legally we can't dispose of it. -
