Prior to this I made my father a preferential payment instead of my creditors. The Official receiver found out and forced my father to repay a proportion of the money back so it could be divided between my other creditors and an agreement was made between with the Official receiver & my father. The Official Receiver also took my tax refund for the month of July 2008 so my Tax year then started on the 1st August. I have just submitted my Self Assessment to the Inland Revenue and they are checking it as I was previously made Bankrupt & I am due a tax refund. My question is can my Tax refund be claimed back by the Official Receiver -
