Come to find out the reaffirmation paperwork was sent to him but he never filled it out. When I asked him about it he said there is no need to fill out reaffirmation paperwork since the new bankruptcy law went into effect in October. In a letter from the car company it says I need reaffirmation paperwork or pay and retain is no longer an option. I'm wondering what can I do if my car is repossessed? I feel mislead by my lawyer since in my paperwork it says I'm retaining my auto and then he failed to tell me he wasn't filling out the paperwork. I'm still making on time payments for the vehicle.
