I've been told that a foreclosure is considered by the government as a sell , so I should pay taxes on it.( I don't know about the car Repossession yet.)
I filed for bankruptcy chapter 7, I had the creditor meeting and now we are waiting for a discharge.
my question is:
how can I file my taxes if I don't have a bankruptcy discharge yet? I added to my bankruptcy the deficit balance of the house and the balance of the car after they've been sold.
but I don't have a discharge to clear my sell taxes. -
