Our employers owned the business and knew we were single uneducated parents. They took advantage of the fact that nobody is hiring and we were stuck because we didn't want to go on welfare. After I was demoted from my supervising position for reporting the harassment we quit and hired an attorney it has been 2 yrs and their lawyers stopped any further depositions and decided to go to mediation. Well after I drove 4 hrs to get to mediation the other party decided they were going to file bankruptcy and they didn't even notify their own attorney..... Any how we are in a waiting game for the next 2 weeks to see if they even qualify for bankruptcy but I am just curious to know what possibilities may come next and what does that mean for us....... any input is appreciated... -
