My grandparents now have TWO mortgages and its 80 000 in debt. They have to pay for their car(rent to own)the house, their insurance and all that crap.
They can't sell it because nobody wants it, they are paying it off but have no money to live off, and they are in their 60's and 80's.
They keep paying but what they owe just keeps getting higher and higher. They don't want to claim bankruptcy because they need the car and credit. They are out of options and I am sick of seeing them live the last years of their life like this. Because they have lots of health problems too.
