Find the best financial services for you at: SMARTFINANCESOLUTIONS.NET - Should I declare bankruptcy? - I feel like I'm working just to pay my debts and never getting anywhere-I really want to just up and move, go where I want, travel cross-country etc. (which would take a little money saved) Problem is right now I only have p-art-time work, making $660/month. I have none left to save. My debts are credit cards and student loans:
STUDENT LOANS: 1. $1,759 WITH 2.47% interest
2. $1,008 with 6.8% interest
3. $1,637 currently deferred
CREDIT CARDS: 1. $282 w/ 22% interest(Checking account reserve line)
2.$639 with 19% interest
3. $711 with 12% interest
4. $1660 with 23% interest
5. $1843 with 15% interest
I know I should pay off high interest rates first. But now I'm starting to wonder if I'd be better off trying to get bakruptcy...My credit score is only around 650 anyways...Should I declare bankruptcy and what will it to to my credit score? I really want these debts off my back! I see no end in sight. And how much will bankruptcy cost? I'm 28 years old and live with my parents (no rent). -
